A cold day with the birds.

Today was a very chilly day and I promised to take the girls, including Laycee, to the Tracey Aviary. We made 4 cups of hot chocolate and set out.

We saw ducks and birds galore.

The girls had fun hanging out. I had a wonderful time with them too.

I wonder what kind of bird you are??

Victoria commandeered the camera and took the picture of the peacock.

Why are the males so darn pretty?

And the females are so drab looking???

This was cute - we came across a little peacock family.

The girls then spent some time in this interactive part making things out of clay. Their fingers got cold pretty fast, so that was short lived.

All in all, it was a fun day and we weren't all hopped up on hot chocolate, though I wouldn't have minded it.
