As our weekend was coming to an end...Grandma Lyndaker whipped out the activity of a lifetime! She came supplied with cute flowers, gemstones & clips: the making for a fun afternoon! We called and invited Laycee over to make some as well. Here is Grandma helping the girls get those creative juices flowing.
Aunt Jenni and Great Grandma Call even got in on the fun. Jennie has 2 girls and another on the way so, she needed some cute hair stuff. (Her son, Ethan, personally isn't a fan of bows - didn't want to leave you out buddy.)After the supplies were about gone & the dessert was about done...I headed over to make some. Oh well! I will just have to borrow some of the girls'.
Victoria kept making and sticking them in her hair. She had enough for a crown.

Christianna also had a slew of them atop her head.
Laycee didn't make as many, but she was more into meticulously designing hers. She was more of a quality vs. quantity hair clip maker.
After that we whipped out the mini lava cakes for Jennie's birthday. You know what? She got a lot of chocolate cake this weekend - lucky duck!
After much thought...she blew out the candle and made her wish. (Maybe it was that her kids would still be alive when she got home? Who knows?)
(She pulled it out and the bottom of the candle was missing. It had melted into the cake! DUH! The inside temp is supposed to be 160. Why didn't I figure that? Oh well...you live and you learn!)
